Foong May Kuen (Michelle)

Michelle Foong brings nearly two decades of investment experience across global and Asian equities. Prior to co-founding IGQ Capital, she served as Senior Portfolio Manager at AIA Bhd (2018–2024), where she managed over USD1.1 billion across multi-asset and investment-linked portfolios.

Under her leadership, these portfolios consistently ranked top-quartile and delivered over 20% in excess returns since 2019.

Earlier in her career, Michelle held senior roles at RHB Research and Deutsche Bank Malaysia, where she was ranked by both AsiaMoney and Institutional Investor. Her sector coverage included healthcare, plantations, transport, consumer, and industrials. She began her career in equity, macro, and fixed-income research at CLSA, Hong Leong Bank, Citigroup, and Kenanga. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of London (LSE External Programme).

Tan Kee Hoong, ACCA, CFA

Tan Kee Hoong brings a differentiated investment background spanning public equities, private equity, and sell-side research. Before co-founding IGQ Capital, he served as Senior Portfolio Manager at AIA Bhd (2018–2024), managing over USD800 million across Malaysian and Asian mandates.

During this period, he delivered meaningful alpha, including 46.75% and 29.61% outperformance for the AIA Aggressive and AIA Medium Cap funds respectively (2019–2024).

His earlier experience includes private equity investing at Navis Capital Partners, where he executed due diligence, buyouts, and exits across Asia, including a USD171 million leveraged acquisition. Kee Hoong began his career as a ranked equity analyst at Affin Hwang and AllianceDBS Research, with recognised investment calls across aviation, oil & gas, gloves, and shipping. He is a CFA charterholder and ACCA member, and graduated with First-Class Honours in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.

Wan Wui Kiang (Ian), ACCA

Ian Wan has over 18 years of investment and equity research experience across Asian markets. Prior to joining IGQ Capital, he held senior research roles at Public Mutual Berhad (2007–2011), Alliance Research (2011–2014), and Kumpulan Sentiasa Cemerlang (2014–2020).

At Kumpulan Sentiasa Cemerlang, Ian co-managed Asian equity portfolios and led in-depth fundamental research and financial modelling. In 2013, he was awarded The Edge Best Call Award. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Teo Yu Sean

Teo Yu Sean specializes in high-conviction Asian and global equity investing. Prior to IGQ Capital, he was a Portfolio Manager at AIA Bhd, managing a USD340 million Malaysian equity mandate and a USD25 million Asia ex-Japan mandate.

Previously, Sean served as an Equities Analyst at JP Morgan Securities Malaysia (2020–2024), covering ASEAN technology hardware and Malaysian sectors. He contributed to a team ranked #1 by Institutional Investor in 2022 and was personally ranked #2 in 2023. He began his career at RHB Asset Management, focusing on Asia ex-Japan technology. Sean holds a Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Banking and Finance from Nanyang Technological University with a GPA of 3.95 and the NTU ASEAN Scholarship, and has completed all levels of the CFA Program.

Rondy Yunanda Yong

Rondy Yunanda Yong brings over 16 years of experience across proprietary trading, multi-asset investing, and corporate finance. Prior to IGQ Capital, he served as Associate Director in CIMB Investment Bank’s Equities Derivatives Group (2015–2017), managing a USD600 million proprietary book across major Asian markets.

His strategies spanned long/short equity, event-driven trades, and arbitrage. Earlier, he spent six years in CIMB’s Global Corporate Sales division, advising corporates and institutions on FX, hedging, and derivatives solutions.

Beyond capital markets, Rondy has led entrepreneurial and corporate finance initiatives, including the expansion of Stockbit Malaysia (2018–2024) and spearheading the IPO and post-listing investor relations for PT Ecocare Indo Pasifik Tbk (2022–2025). He holds a BA (Hons) in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham.
